Celebrity Chef Paula Deen used her latest public appearance to once again say she is sorry for using racist language in the past.
"I have heard, on more than one occasion, so that's why it's important to say this to y'all, that I never apologized, so if anybody did not hear me apologize, I want to apologize for those that did not hear me."
Deen drew a supportive crowd at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival over the weekend in Miami.
She told the audience their cards and letters have helped her during and after last year's controversy.
Deen's career and reputation were damaged in June when details from a former restaurant employee's lawsuit were released.
In a videotaped deposition, Deen admitted she had used the "n word".
She later lost her TV show and a number of endorsement deals.
Earlier this month, it was announced Deen had entered a new business partnership with a private investor to rebuild her brand.
