Cause of UPS Plane Crash Remains Under Investigation

By  |

A medical examiner rules out medical problems as the cause of last month’s UPS plane crash in Birmingham.

The Coroner reports the two-person flight crew died from blunt force injuries they suffered in the crash. The Airbus A-300 crashed into an open field near the Birmingham Airport on Aug. 14.

A National Transportation Safety Board preliminary report found no sign of engine failure or fire aboard the jet. The crew also did not report any trouble before the crash. The investigation into the cause continues.
