Carroll High School May Issue Graduation Tickets

OZARK, Ala. (AP) -- School officials in Ozark are discussing how to limit outbursts and other disruptions at an upcoming high school graduation ceremony.

Carroll High School Principal Joey Brannon says that the aim is to avoid a repeat of incidents at last year's graduation. He said interruptions led to the ceremony being halted at least once to quiet people down.

He said that requiring a ticket for entry into the ceremony could help at this year's ceremony. He said that would give administrators a better idea of who a person is and how he or she - if removed - had access to the graduation.

The idea is one of a few that school officials said they are discussing to provide for more order.
