An accident in Walton County sent a young boy to the hospital Monday afternoon.
It happened just before 5-pm on County Road 30-A near Patina Boulevard.
The seven-year old boy was riding a bicycle and was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound. Authorities say he was not in a nearby crosswalk at the time of the accident.
The boy was transported to a nearby hospital, and thankfully, his injuries weren't life-threatening.
