MIDWAY, Ala. (AP) -- State troopers say a car crash in south Alabama left three people dead and seriously injured two children.

Troopers say 26-year-old Darjean Williams of Midway was driving a sport-utility vehicle that left Bullock County 89 and overturned on Friday.
The crash killed Williams and two passengers, 9-year-old Monique Williams of Midway and 29-year-old Renner Austin of Union Springs.

Troopers say a 5-year-old and a 6-year-old also were seriously injured in the wreck. They're being treated at Children's of Alabama hospital in Birmingham.

Authorities didn't release information about the relationship between any of the victims.
Troopers say seat belts weren't in use when the wreck happened.
