Canada: Guardrail Saves Woman From Leaving Bridge

A guard rail kept a woman from going off a bridge in Canada Monday.

CNN affiliate CTV reports that the woman was driving over the bridge when she lost control of her car.

She hit the guard rail, sending part of it flying, and landing on the freeway below.

The other part was left dangling over a southbound lane.

No one was injured by the falling rail.

There is no word on the condition of the woman driving the car.

Traffic was restricted to one lane as maintenance crews worked to remove the damaged section of rail.
