Starting April 1st, cable network GSN will air a set of episodes of the late 1980s NBC gameshow “Sale of the Century.”
GSN, formerly Gameshow Network, is home to many gameshows both classic and modern. Next month, the network will begin showing the 1988-1989 season of “Sale of the Century” as part of their lineup.
“Sale of the Century” featured trivia and shopping as well other games for cash and other prizes. It was hosted by Jim Perry, who had previously hosted “Card Sharks.”
In addition, GSN will be adding episodes of “Press Your Luck” that are new to the network from that shows 1983-1984 season. In that show, hosted by Peter Tomarken, players answered trivia questions to earn spins on a massive board to earn cash and prizes while avoiding the dreaded “Whammy.”
