Burglary Investigation Leads to Drug Charges

On 12/11/2012 Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to a report of a burglary of a residence at 4483 Marion Street. While investigating the reported burglary officers observed in plain sight components consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine.

David Ingram was taken into custody and charged with attempted manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The Jackson County Drug Task Force responded to assist with the collection and processing of the lab materials.

During the course of the investigation officers were lead to the Best Value Inn where Chad Vickery was located and found to be in possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia and he was subsequently charged with attempted manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
