Rock star Bret Michaels is giving back to a hospital he credits with saving his life.
On Tuesday he unveiled the 'Bret Michaels Hospitality and Music Room' at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.
In 2010 Michael's came to the hospital after he suffered a life-threatening stroke.
The following year he returned to the hospital to undergo a heart surgery to close a hole in his heart.
The music room is furnished with art, pieces of his personal music memorabilia and guitars.
"It is a blessing and I say this by the grace of God and a lot of good medical attention, that I'm standing here ."
Michaels says he has fully recovered.
