One health care facility in Covington County has rolled out the pink carpet when it comes to October being breast cancer awareness month.
Recently, Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp implemented a state-of-the-art digital mammo. The latest technology in detecting breast cancer. Through this month, hours have been extended for women to come in and have a mammogram. Early cancer detection improves the chances of a complete recovery.
