Boll Weevil Monument Damage

Crews spent today repairing the city of progress' landmark.
Police say 25-year-old Anthony Zapel ran into the Boll Weevil monument just after midnight on Sunday.
He also ran through a street lamp.
There were no injuries reported.
The monument suffered minimal damage.
Zapel was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
