PHENIX CITY, Ala. (AP) -- Authorities say foul play was involved in the death of a missing teenager whose body was found in southeast Alabama.
The Russell County Sheriff's office is treating the death of 19-year-old Keonte Chavis of Phenix City as a homicide.
Chavis' remains were found late Saturday in a wooded area near Seale. Police had been searching for her since Thursday, when she was last seen in Phenix City.
An autopsy is planned for Monday to determine the cause of death.
