UPDATE: Bingo Corruption Sentences Announced (Video)

After hours of arguments in the Bingo Corruption sentence hearing, Judge Myron Thompson has issued the sentences in the trial.

Former Lobbyist Jarrod Massey was sentenced to 65 months in federal prison, to be served in a facility near Montgomery, Ala. After he is released, he will serve a 3 year supervised release period.

Massey owes separately $600 as well as $20,000 in fines, both due immediately, with the remainder to be paid in installments of no less than $100 per month.

Former Representative Terry Spicer will serve 57 months in federal prison, to be served in a facility close to Elba, Ala. Upon his release, he must serve an additional 2 years supervised release period as well as 80 hours of community service.

Spicer owes separate fines of $100 and $40,000, both due immediately, with the remainder to be paid in installments of no less than $100 per month.

Country Crossing and Bama Jam Farms developer Ronnie Gilley faces 80 months in federal prison to be served in a facility near Enterprise, Ala. He owes a fine of $1,100 and must forfeit $200,000 to the state.

Each of the defendants have waived the right to appeal and have up to 14 days to file one if they so choose.

Also each must surrender themselves to their respective prison sites to begin serving out their terms on or before 2p.m. on August 27, 2012.
