Better Schools Award

Adopt-a-School! Dothan developed a recognition program called ‘Better Schools, Better Dothan Awards’.

The awards were open to all Dothan City Schools and 16 projects were submitted.

In the end, it came down to just five schools: Beverly Magnet School's Theatre Production, Hidden Lake Elementary School's outdoor classroom greenhouse addition, Montana Magnet School's Learn-a-Thon technology upgrade and Grandview Elementary School’s Advanced Readers Rewards.

Teachers at Grandview say they had no idea this was coming.
