A popular, beloved animated series from the 1990s will be returning to the airwaves on the Hub Network starting Monday, January 7th.
“Animaniacs” premiered in the early 1990s as part of the now-defunct Fox Kids and later joined the Kids WB lineup. Running for five years, the series became known for its off-the-wall humor with characters like the Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister), Pinky & The Brain (which later had two spinoffs), Slappy Squirrel, Chicken Boo and many others.
Now, repeats of the 99 classic episodes of the animated series will be joining The Hub on weekdays starting Monday, January 7th.
The series did air a few episodes on Christmas Eve as part of a promotional special, including new commercials voiced by the original voice actors. The final volume of Animaniacs will also be released on DVD in February.
Animaniacs joins other 1990s animated series on The Hub, such as Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series. The Hub is also popular for contemporary animated series such as Transformers Prime and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
