HUNTSVILLE, Alabama--Three people died Wednesday when a small airplane crashed at Huntsville International Airport, according to a spokeswoman for the airport.
The airport received a crash signal from the air traffic control tower at 2:21 p.m., spokeswoman Karen Yarbrough said. The plane crashed on the northwest side of the airport, on airport property, according to Don Webster, chief of operations for HEMSI ambulance service.
