Authorities Arrest Three in Connection with Recent Vandalism Attacks

The Houston Co. Sheriff's Office has arrested three people in connection to county vandalism attacks.

Derrick Edmond Davis, 23, of Dothan, and two Taylor juveniles, one female, 16 and one male, 17.

Each one of the suspects were charged with three counts of Criminal Mischief 1st with a $5,000.00 bond for each charge.

On August 6, 2014 the Houston County Sheriff's Office received reports of vandalism (spray painting) occurring at Rehobeth Elementary School and at Taylor Assembly of God Church.

On August 9, 2014 the Sheriff’s Office received reports of vandalism (spray painting) occurring at Rehobeth Baptist Church, Rehobeth High School, Taylor Baptist Church and a Mini Storage Facility.

On August 12, 2014 the Sheriff’s Office received reports of vandalism (spray painting) occurring at Taylor Recreation Park, and a neighboring Daycare.

The Houston County Sheriff's Office with the assistance of Taylor Police Department and the citizens of Houston County was able to close this case with the arrest of three suspects.

There may be additional charges related to this case our investigation will be on-going.
