Attempted Kidnapping Victim Found

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office was able to track down a vehicle tied to a kidnapping and locate the victim of the crime.
The OCSO received a call at 2 p.m. today of a possible kidnapping. Deputies were told the 23-year old female victim had been taken from somewhere in the Fort Walton Beach area yesterday evening around 7 p.m., tied up and beaten, and placed in the suspects' white pick-up truck.
An intense search for the truck was initiated and a deputy spotted the vehicle around 4:20 this afternoon at 643 Calhoun Avenue in Destin.
The victim was also at that address and appeared to have numerous contusions across her face and body. Medical personnel were called to the scene and transported her to a local hospital for evaluation.
Two people were taken into custody while deputies work to determine the sequence of events and what charges will be filed.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
