A local sorority, along with Healthy You sponsored an Asthma Safari for the students.
It's a puppet show that organizers say is an educational learning tool to teach students important things they need to know about asthma.
"How asthma occurs and they also advise how children can deal with those crisis that they may get into as a result of their asthma, " says Linda Garrett, former President of the Kappa Pi Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
Parents were also invited to attend the show.
