The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced this afternoon the arrest of Philip Dean Brock, DOB 3-12-56, of 16014 Kathy Lane, Panama City. Brock has been charged with Burglary and Grand Theft.
Brock was found to be in possession of a vehicle owned by homicide victim Terry Brazil. Deputies, conducting a welfare check on Brazil, discovered his body within his home on Highway 167 yesterday. Brazil’s vehicle was missing but was later found in Fountain. Investigators believe Brock took Brazil’s vehicle. Also missing from Brazil’s home are silver bullion and coins as well as handguns.
Anyone who has been approached since December 11, 2012, by someone attempting to sell silver bullion or coins, and handguns is asked to contact the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
