On October 12, 2013 the Dothan Police Department took Timothy Wells into custody, after warrants were issued for his arrest charging him with 10 counts of second degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.
Investigators say from July 2, 2013 through August 22, 2013, Wells wrote and cashed several bank check to himself that were stolen from his former place of employment, without knowledge, or permission of the employer. Investigators say an audit of the businesses account revealed over $4,000.00 to have been taken by Wells during that time.
Timothy Wells arrest now brings this case to a close.
Timothy Garrett Wells, white male, 22 years of age, of Petty Street was arrested and charged with 10 counts of second degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument. Bonds have been set and total $50,000.00. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
