OZARK-- Police arrested 32 year old Jeremy Brewer from his Midland City campsite where he was residing. Now, law enforcement agencies in the Wiregrass are looking for the owners of a number of stolen items recovered in Dale County.
A four wheeler, power tools, baseball cards, air conditioners and a number of other items are still waiting for people to claim them.
In order to pick up their belongings, the owner must go the the Dale County Sheriffs Office and fill out a police report. They are also asked to bring an itemized list of what they are missing.
This is an ongoing investigation and Dale County Sheriffs Office Sheriff Wally Olson said they are looking for help from neighbors to arrest all involved.
"No one knows your community like you know you're community," Sheriff Olson said. "So, if you see something out of place or just doesn't look right around your neighbor's home, whether it be a suspicious vehicle or whatever, pick up the phone and call us and let us check it out."
The number for the Dale County Sheriffs Office is (334)774-2335 or a person can call the Ozark Police Department at (334)774-6803. Police are also asking area pawn shops, antique stores and salvage yards with any information to call.
This investigation is a joint effort between the Dale County Sheriffs Office, Ozark Police Department, Midland City Police Department, Dothan Police Department and Houston County Sheriffs Office.
Brewer is being held in the Dale County Jail and facing felony burglary and theft charges.
