Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Give-A-Way
In the event of rain, the celebration will be held in the second floor lobby area of the Dothan Civic Center.

The 2012 Arbor Day Celebration will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 23rd at Westgate Park. The guest speaker for this year’s annual celebration will be Melinda McClendon.
Dan Williams, Horticulturist for the City of Dothan, will present the American Holly tree to be planted in honor children with special needs.
In the event of rain, the celebration will be held in the second floor lobby area of the Dothan Civic Center.
This year’s celebration is sponsored by the City of Dothan, Alabama Cooperative Extension, and the Alabama Forestry Department.
As part of the Arbor Day Celebration, the Alabama Forestry Commission will be sponsoring a tree give-a-way at the Northside Walmart Garden Center on Friday, February 24, 2012 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
