The shelter's veterinarian says the animals were in deplorable condition when they were first taken out of their Andalusia home last month.
Today, several Covington County residents at the Andalusia Animal Shelter looked to adopt. Their owner, Charlotte Adams of Andalusia, was the operator of animal aid and rescue resources incorporated. But..., authorities say it was a front for scamming animal lovers of more than 25-thousand dollars in cash and thousands more in pet supplies. Authorities say the cats inside Adams' home were sick, malnourished and dying… Adams posted bond and has been released from the Covington County Jail ….
