Amusement Ride Rescue

Apparently the new Superman ride at California's Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has a few kinks to work out.

Passengers got to the top of the ride this afternoon (Sunday) when it got stuck -- for an hour-and-a-half.

Fire crews were on scene to rescue the people stranded 150 feet in the air.

They had to bring in a crane to get the riders down.

No one was hurt.

A spokeswoman for Six Flags says the ride will be closed until a safety inspection can be completed on it.

The ride opened June 30, 2012.
