Amputee Clinic

Doctors at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center held an amputee fair.
This event had multiple prosthetic services set up to allow people to look around.
And doctors say this is also a great way for amputee’s to connect with people who have gone through similar experiences and learn about what can help them.

"I feel very strongly with providing these patients with the very best of care available they deserve that and this is an opportunity where we can bring some of the vendors in and show them the latest technology." SAMC Orthopedic surgeon David Alford said.

Those in attendance were able to mingle and speak to doctors about their concerns as well.
