New Developments in Dothan Kidnapping Case

News 4 has gotten word of new developments in the kidnapping case of Dothan teen Ailene Lander.

According to Dothan Police the suspect and victim are very likely located in East Texas or Western Louisiana.

Border Patrol Agents are currently monitoring all US Border crossing locations at this time.

The suspect is very likely seeking and may be entering charitable organizations for subsistence.

(Dothan, AL)-- An Amber Alert has officially been issued for missing teen Ailene Lander.

The Dothan Police Department is asking for all hands on deck to help find a kidnapped teenager. The FBI is now assisting in the search for 15-year-old Ailene Lander.

Lander was taken by her stepfather 36-year-old Charles "Dean" Partin from a Dothan Hospital on Monday.

Lander was leaving an appointment with a DHR worker when Partin arrived. He took her in what police have identified as 1994 light blue Mercury Villager.

Police were able to trace the following tags to the vehicle:
LIC/38D18W2
LIC/34B26K3

On Tuesday police issued a reward for any information leading to the arrest of Partin, who goes by "Dean". Lander's mother, Julie Bethke, is also a suspect in this case.

Police believe Lander is currently with her five siblings,mother and stepfather. Anyone with new information is urged to contact their local law enforcement.

Lander has five siblings, however none of them are in DHR custody.
