Alabama State Trooper Follow-Up

The two suspects charged with wounding an Alabama State Trooper are now charged with murder in the Florida Panhandle...

He plead guilty in the murder case.

Investigators say it all started at a home on Johnson Road in Washington County.
They say 21-year-old Dillon Rafsky of Enterprise ... And 23-year-old Zachary Wood of Glenwood in Crenshaw County ... Killed James Shores and stole his car.
That was the car they were driving when Alabama State Trooper Lee Phillips tried to pull them over outside Hartford.
After a short chase ... Police say the duo exchanged gunfire with Phillips.
Phillips was hit in the shoulder ... But the wound was life-threatening.
Wood was arrested at the scene ... Rafsky fled into nearby woods but was arrested a short time later.
Both men are charged with attempted murder in Geneva County.
Tonight...., both Rafsky and Wood are being held at the Geneva County Jail under 750-thousand dollar bonds each... Back to you.
