Alabama Ranked 19th in Federal Revenue for State Funding

A new study on Federal Aid ranked Alabama the 19th in federal revenue for state spending.

Tax foundation conducted the study. It says 38.2 percent of the state government’s revenue comes from federal funds.

It is a tight call across the tri-states. Florida came in at 36.9 percent and Georgia measured 41.1 percent. The study only looked at state’s tax revenue and didn’t consider state income from investments.
