DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) -- A southeastern Alabama man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting a disabled woman.
Robert Walker was sentenced Wednesday on three counts of second degree sodomy and rape.
The Dothan Eagle reports 65-year-old Walker sexually assaulted a 34-year-old victim several times and was arrested in September 2012. Walker has also been accused of raping a woman in Henry County.
The newspaper previously reported that Walker pleaded guilty to murder in 1985. Department of Corrections officials told the newspaper that he served just over six years in prison.
