Alabama Kicks Off Red Kettle Campaign Monday

The Salvation Army needs your help once again this year to raise money for needy families in the state.

They kicked off its annual red kettle campaign on the steps of the state capitol on Monday.

Governor Robert Bentley helped ring in another year of giving putting the first contribution in a Salvation Army kettle at the capitol.

Bell ringers started collecting outside 13 locations Monday.

More kettles will be out after Thanksgiving.
