Alabama Department of Agriculture Gets Rid of Unwanted Pesticides

The Alabama Department of Agriculture is making a clean sweep this week to get rid of unwanted pesticides.

The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries is putting on two pesticide collection days, on Wednesday in Baldwin County and another on Thursday in Henry County. Farmers, pesticide applicators, and others can bring up to a thousand pounds of unwanted pesticides for safe disposal.

Products that have lost registration, have illegible labels are out of date, or any pesticide products that you can’t use, can be thrown away through this program.
