Students at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine are getting a jump start on a look into careers.
Hospital and residency program officials filled the halls of ACOM, giving students the chance to ask questions and get information and network with potential employers.
The goal of the event was to connect students with these programs early on.
"The more exposure you can get to somebody, the better that they can get to know you, the more likely it is that they are going to hire you and recruit you to their program," said student Anthony Bianchi.
School officials say Hospital Day will be an annual event.
