BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Forecasters are warning of another winter weather system expected to bring frigid temperatures, sleet and snow to areas of central Alabama.
The National Weather Service says an arctic air mass is expected to move into the state on Monday.
Forecasters have issued a winter storm watch from Tuesday morning to late Tuesday night and meteorologists in Birmingham say the greatest potential for sleet and snow will be between noon Tuesday and 3 a.m. Wednesday.
