Fatal Abbeville Stabbing Case Moved to Grand Jury

A judge is sending a fatal stabbing case out of Abbeville to a grand jury.

Tyric Brown, 17, was killed in April. Three suspects in the case had a preliminary hearing yesterday. A judge ruled that there was enough evidence to send the case to a grand jury.

The panel will review evidence and determine if there is enough for a formal charge. Then, the case will move forward to a trial.

The next court appearance will be in August.
