COFFEE COUNTY, AL -- Bridge work is scheduled for Monday morning in Coffee County. The Alabama Department of Transportation has announced work will be begin on a bridge over the Pea River on Highway 167.
The work will be done on the northern-most of the triple bridges and is located at Mile Post 37.391 in Coffee County. Steel piling encasements will be be placed on the relief bridge over the Pea River.
Motorists are asked to slow down and proceed with caution if they will be traveling along Highway 167 North in the area of the triple bridges in the near future. Delays are expected.
