AL AP Course Enrollment Up by 218 Percent

In the state of Alabama, the number of high school grads who took an AP course rose over 218%.
And the number of students passing the exam almost tripled.

In Dothan city schools...They have seen similar results thanks to a 3-year grant.
The grant is now up but teachers have a better idea of what works in preparing their students.
Houston Co. Schools focus more on dual enrollment but still offer AP courses.
