DE FUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) -- The American Civil Liberties Union says a Panhandle city wrongly fired an employee for refusing to take a drug test.
The civil rights advocacy group filed a lawsuit against De Funiak Springs on Wednesday.
The lawsuit alleges suspicionless drug testing violates the Fourth Amendment's protections against unreasonable searches.
The city's administrator told the Associated Press that she could not comment on the pending litigation.
