The Daleville Lions Club hosted its annual senior citizens breakfast which raises money for seniors in the community. Daleville high school’s JROTC program helped out with cooking and serving the food. This event is held every year to raise money for senior citizens needs, such as new tiling and painting projects.
“Many of the seniors are participating; they’re here thanking us for doing what we do. We normally make a little presentation when it’s over and they always seem very appreciative of what we can do for them,” said Angela Filmore, the Daleville Lions Club President.
Breakfast was served from 7a.m. to 10 a.m. at the senior citizens multipurpose center.
