"Kids fun day" held its last celebration of the year at McRae Homes and they went out with a big splash.
The "Yes We Can Dothan," Untouchablez MC, and other community organizations supplied the music, water inflatables, and food.
Free school supplies and uniforms were given to needy families.
"Last year I started doing something for the kids because when I was little I didn't have anyone doing anything for me. I said to myself it will be one day the kids will have a fun day," says Mark Warren, creator of “Kids Fun Day”.
The group held 3 events in July and looks to do more projects in the future.
Warren says next year will be bigger and better.
