Law enforcement officers in Enterprise are getting ready for this year's National Night Out Against Crime.

Kids can check out fire trucks, police cars, even the sheriff's office helicopter while adults enjoy the free food and live music.

This year's event will be Tuesday, August 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at the Enterprise Recreational Facility on Hwy. 167 North.

"It’s good, healthy, wholesome, family fun for the whole family. Bring your kids. Bring your dogs and pets because it is a park and we can, in the process of having a fun time, we can educate the public on crime awareness,” says organizer, Detective Steve Russell.

Dothan's National Night Out will be held at the Civic Center on the same day from 3 to 7 p.m.
