Animal scientists at the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, say several stables have been located for the horses.
Florida horse owners are being told that there is no room available in Georgia for any more evacuated horses. However, locally there is limited stable space available.
Those sites include the Houston County Farm Center and Fort Rucker.
