Two Florida Soldiers Killed in Iraq

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - The Department of Defense says two Florida soldiers and another from California were killed in Iraq.

Specialist Joseph Landry the third of Pensacola and Specialist Donald Valentine the third of Orange Park died Tuesday in Muqdadiyah, Iraq. Pentagon officials say an improvised explosive device detonated near their unit.

A soldier from California also was killed in the blast.

All three soldiers were based at Fort Lewis in Washington state.
