A Northwest Florida man, convicted felon, is being held in the Bay County Jail.
45-year-old Shawn Gomes was taken into custody Wednesday charged with sexual battery and several drug offenses.
Police searched Gomes' Mexico Beach home after a woman accused him of drugging her and sexually assaulting her.
The victim claims she remembers going home with Gomes, having two drinks, but then she says, she blacked out.
She woke up in a relative's home and found evidence of sexual activity.
However, Gomes says the sex was consensual.
After a search warrant was executed, police say they found Polaroid pictures of the victim and numerous other women inside his home.
Gomes is a convicted felon and had failed to register in Bay County.
