An escapee from the Henry County Jail has been recaptured and now, 45-year-old James Holmes faces additional charges.
Authorities found him sitting on the front porch of a house a couple of blocks from the jail Monday morning.
Holmes was cleaned up and taken to a doctor for treatment-then taken before a judge on an escape charge.
Holmes got away Friday morning.
Deputies found his bloody jail uniform discarded a short distance away and Holmes apparently fled into a nearby wooded area wearing nothing but his underwear.
Sheriff Lawton Ed Armstrong says Holmes was in pretty bad shape.
Holmes had been in jail for about two months after he was caught driving a stolen car.
His original bond was set at $2,000 and Judge Charles Woodham increased the amount to $100,000.
