The Alabama Office of Homeland Security officially opened Thursday in Montgomery.
Governor Don Siegelman issued an executive order on May 1st establishing the office.
Siegelman also said the office will launch it's own web site. Citizens seeking additional information can log on at www.homelandsecurity.alabama.gov, and the office number is 1-800-361-4454.
