With the anniversary of the attacks approaching, the White House is now considering allowing guns in the cockpit.
Air safety is under a lot of scrutiny and many of those who fly for a living say they don't feel prepared.
People who are against arming pilots favor reinforced cockpits and armed air marshals instead.
But those who want pilots armed say they are the last line of defense.
