The Bay County sheriff held a conference Friday afternoon with new information on a little girl whose parents believe she was abducted.
Over Memorial Day weekend of 2006, then 3-year-old Jewel Strong was vacationing with her family at Panama City Beach.
She and her aunt went for a swim and were pulled into strong currents and presumably drowned.
The aunt's body was found, but Jewel was never recovered from the gulf.
Surveillance video is giving her parents hope that their daughter is still alive.
But at Friday's news conference, Bay County sheriff Frank McKeithien is refuting claims that the little girl on the tape is Jewel Strong.
