An escaped inmate from the Henry County Jail in Abbeville remains on the run.
Forty-five-year-old James Dalton Holmes had been in jail for nearly two months. Holmes is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds.
About 8 a.m. Saturday morning, Holmes jumped on a table in the yard of the Henry County Jail and scaled a 12-foot fence topped with razor wire.
Deputies used all-terrain vehicles to search a nearby wooded area.
The Dale County Sheriff's Department and the Alabama Bureau of Investigation also provided helicopters for an aerial search.
Authorities say the suspect was being held for receiving stolen property after he was caught driving a stolen car.
If you have any information on Holmes' where about, you are asked to contact Henry County Crimestoppers at 585-5200.
