A Houston County man arrested for a non-violent offense now faces up to 10 years in prison for allegedly attacking a jailer.
Twenty-five-year-old Adrian Dubose was being held on misdemeanor worthless check charges when he allegedly assaulted a male corrections officer.
The jailer suffered a head wound that required 12 stitches.
In addition to the criminal charge, Sheriff Lamar Glover says Dubose will also lose his inmate privileges, including visitation and telephone time.
